Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Koku Anyidoho has rubbished claims by Madam Joyce Bawa Mogtari that sought to suggest that the NDC wouldn’t be bothered should the New Patriotic Party continue to rule Ghana for the next eight years.
The spokesperson for former President Mahama had earlier revealed on Starr fm that the beauty of Ghana’s democracy could make it possible for the current administration to rule the nation from 2016 to 2024.
In an interview on the radio station, she stated that “well I don’t really mind if NPP rules for eight (8) years, it is democracy and really not an issue. When they lost, you can imagine how they felt when we moved into Flagstaff House and I know the feeling… We’ve all been there and that is the beauty of our democracy.”
But Mr. Koku Anyidoho has vehemently refused to buy into any of her suggestions.
Reacting to the news on Peace fm’s Evening News, the NDC deputy scribe noted that the party is prepping to return to power in the shortest possible time.
Contrary to the views shared by Madam Joyce Bawa Mogtari, Mr. Koku Anyidoho posits that she isn’t the official mouthpiece of the NDC and entreated the general public to take her comment with a pinch of salt.
"Our own investigations show that we are ready to come back to power in 2020…she has just shared her thoughts which doesn’t reflect the views of the NDC.
She has no authority to speak for the NDC…Our National Chairman is our leader and the secretariat is still working”, he said to discredit the suggestions of Bawa Mogtari.
He advised her to stick to her job of speaking for ex-president Mahama and not to assume her new role permits her to speak for the party.
“She can speak for the former president but shouldn’t speak for the NDC. The former president only announced she speaks for him but the party hasn't said so. She only expressed her views and not that of the party”, he said.
Mr. Koku Anyidoho revealed that though the NDC was in opposition, they are working very hard from the national to regional level in order to bounce back to early.

still in a comfortable lead, womboodam
This Anyidoho guy never learn, we are in comfortable lead!!!!
Koku Anyidoho,so you are thinking of coming to power for us to hear your insults and feel your corruption? Forget
Koku needs to sober down and listen to the views of others. When long before 2016 elections Mogtari was expressing fears that Mahama would lose elections, the likes of Koku were confident of a one touch victory. This is not takashie, it is logical reasoning. Better to ponder and restrategize.
AFTER 26 YEARS OF GHANA'S RULE ,WHAT CAN YOU BOAST OF ?STEALING,STEALING,STEALING.
Koku is still day dreaming. Its time he woke up to the reality
It's time Koku woke up to the reality that as long as he professes to be the face and sole spokesman of the NDC, the party will never come back to power. Simply put, Ghanaians are sick and tired of the Kokus, Adamus, Ofosus, and Nketiahs, you know what I mean. Any person with brains can see that the lady was just expressing her personal opinion, which was more sensible than Koku trying to make the world believe that she was speaking for the party.
You have done Koku a big disservice. You just proved that Koku is more foollllllllliiiiisshh than the journalist. Why blame the journalist? All he was interested in was getting a sensational story from an ***barred word*** and small minded politician and he found one. He did not put a gun to Koku's head, he threw a bait and he swallowed it whole. Do you really think we want people like Koku anywhere near power again? Hell no. Can't you even see the shift in focus of current political programmes? Radio programmes are even more civilised these days because all those babies with sharp teeth are still licking their wounds.
I don't know who interviewd Koku, but whoever did is someone who does not fit the cut of a professional journalist. Joyce was interviewed and spoke her mind. Did she say she was speaking for the NDC? Was there even the slightest hint that she spoke in the party's stead? I can't see any such indication. So what warranted the need for reaction from Koku but for the bufffffoooooonnnneeeeery of a journalist who could not differentiate a personal view from a political party stance. Dear reader let's begin to interrogate the intelligence of our journalist and begin to take them to task lest they take us thru the trail of Rwanda. This whole interview of Koku on his reaction to Joyce was needless, reckless and foooooooollllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiissssssssssshhhhhhhh to say the least.
Some fake christians are insulting Muslims because they advised Samira to continue covering herself as she was doing during the campaign which both Muslims and Christians were happy with her. In the holy Bible 1 Corinthians 11:16 says and I quote "For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head." Fake christians who are insulting Muslims because they are practicing what the Bible says should bury their heads in shame. Read the Bible obey and practice what the Bible say. May be to the fake christians the Bible has become primitive or outmoded so fake christians don't want to follow the Bible again. If you don't want to obey 1 Corinthians 11:16 then you are fake onapo christian. Onaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapo!!!!!!
