The National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams says the NDC is free to operate its National Institute of Social Democracy School without acquiring the necessary accreditation from the National Accreditation Board (NAB).
His comment comes after the board said they have not accredited the opposition NDC to operate its National Institute of Social Democracy.
The school which was launched by the party last week seeks to imbibe in young people the ideals of Social Democracy.
The Executive Secretary of NAB, Kwame Dattey, said though the school does not have the NAB’s blessing to operate it will not be necessary if it will be awarding only certificates.
But Kofi Adams On NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ rubbished NAB’s assertion by saying “There are lots of works for NAB to do, they should rather concentrate on that and stop bothering their heads on the NDC.”
“As far as we are concerned, our operation doesn’t fall under their rules now. So when the time comes we will call on them for accreditation. For now, we’re not an institute that is demanding NAB’s blessings. We don’t need it for now. We are not running any full programs for our members. That will be in future,” he empathically stated.

I will plead with our youth to be wise and careful not to fall to the schemes of the NDC who are bent on destrying theuir future forever. I hope they are not going to make propaganda a subject for study.
I dont think that our political parties need institutions now. What they need is attitudinal change that will see corruption, selfishness, greed and thirst for power through evil means and vilification of persons come to an end. Importantly, of what benefit will a school that teaches so called ideologies of political parties be to Ghanaian when morality is lost even at birth due to what politicians do. Ghana in need of morally upright persons and not institutions where ideologies and party beliefs are taught.
"Ghana Institute of Social Democracy" is wrong because it is not an institute set up by Ghana. It should be Institute of Social Democracy, Ghana.
Oh NDC what a disgrace to set up a Ghana Institute of Social Democracy to charge fees to run the Party and yet the Institute is not recognized by NAB? Baba Jamal was on TV3 program last Saturday,12 August, 2017 that everything is set and that foreigners have even enrolled to come and learn from their School and today Kofi Adam is saying they don't need accreditation? NDC, are really serious? Let us learn from our past mistakes.People from the party are now saying that the Party coffers are empty and no one is prepared to support the Party like what NPP Party stewards and supporters very often do. and if this is the means of camouflage fund raising for the Party, then it should be properly done because if it must be done, then it must be DONEWELL.
The likes of Kofi Adams still don't even understand why they lost the last election, yet they are talking of recapturing power in 2020
you are in opposition and yet you display this arrogance, infact the likes of you makes me stop listening to radio. you are a disgrace to your self and your party if you tink you doing them anything good. just wait and see if u can survive in the next 3years
