Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong has issued a caustic warning to investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas not to dare travel out of the country.
According to him, he has a smoking gun on the activities by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his team Tiger Eye PI, which he describes as "illegal and evil".
Kennedy Agyapong, speaking on Adom TV's "Badwam" programme, challenged Anas to provide concrete evidence on his source of wealth.
He disclosed that the investigative journalist has been using dubious means to bamboozle his victims and enrich himself.
Kennedy Agyapong, boldly exposing the "corrupt" nature of Anas, revealed that the investigative journalist has acquired estates and lands together with other vast assets by extorting monies from people.
He also added that Anas employed the services of land guards to terrorize people and plunder two lands at Trade Fair in Accra.
Anas has also acquired a Pharmaceutical shop and imports things from Dubai, Kennedy Agyapong further stated.
Furthermore, he questioned the Inspector General of Police why Anas has been given a private Police security at his residence, asking is he a better citizen than any Ghanaian?
He dared Anas to prove if he pays taxes, saying "I will stick my neck on the line for Ghanaians and the innocent people he has destroyed over the years. It's too much".
Mr. Agyapong swore on Badwam to show Ghanaians the true colors of Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who he believed would have been obliterated if he were in a different State.
"The guy is not genuine. He's blackmailing people. He's extortionist, taking monies from people. He is evil. He’s an extortionist. He is a blackmailer.
"The guy shouldn't travel. The guy should not leave this country because I will take him on one on one and bring the evidence out. Because he's never been fair to the people that he has destroyed and institutions that he has destroyed in this country for taking monies...We're not small boys. We are human beings. We're all Ghanaians", he stressed.
