Former President Jerry John Rawlings will eventually join the unity walk of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), according to Anita Desoso who is the National Vice Chairperson of the party.
According to her, the Unity Walk is an idea put together by the party, and therefore, Mr Rawlings will join in the near-future.
Since the NDC lost the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the party, has been embarking on periodic unity walks in the regions as part of its re-organisation strategy.
The walk however, has always featured former President, John Dramani Mahama with Mr Rawlings, who is the founder of the party, together with some flag bearer aspirants absent from the walk.
But Ms Desoso, after the "supposed" June 4th reconcilaition is optimistic that Mr Rawlings, will eventually come around.
