The deputy General-Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has stated that President Akufo-Addo lacks the courage to fight corruption.
He said the President is superintending massive corruption at the seat of government, the Jubilee House. Speaking on Radio Rainbow, Koku said: “I hope that Ghanaians cannot wait to vote him out in 2020,”
He added that if the Akufo-Addo government was bent on fighting corruption, some persons within the party alleged to have been involved in corrupt deals would have been prosecuted by now.
“This government is beset with troubles that relate to corruption and they haven’t shown any spine in dealing with those issues. KelniGVG is a classical case. Contracts were signed, under dubious circumstances, issues were raised and these issues were raised by none other persons than some of the strongest supporters of the administration, IMANI Ghana…so if they [IMANI] are talking we should be listening to them,” – he said.
According to him, the corruption under Nana Addo has gone through the roofs and due to that, his ministers are resigning from their jobs.
He stressed that, the over bloated appointees under him is a mark of corruption and so, looking at Nana Addo’s number of appointees, I will say I am convinced he is not ready to fight corruption and in 2020, Ghanaians will vote him out.
Koku caused a stir last year when he stated that there will be a coup d’etat under Akufo-Addo. It led to him being arrested and charged with treason. The charges were later dropped.
Earlier same that year, The Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Koku Anyidoho admonished President Akufo-Addo to confess his sins and seek for God’s forgiveness to avert his wrath.
According to the maverick politician, the 2016 New Patriotic Party [NPP] Presidential Candidate had a devilish encounter with an unknown people who engineered his victory in the 2016 General polls and that it’s about time he asked his maker for divine forgiveness to end the mysterious happenings under his years in office.

DO YOU SMOKE WEEEEEE? WHEN WE LOOK AT YOUR MOUTH IT REALLY SEEMS A WEEEEEEE SMOKER. I AM SURE YOU SMOKE WEEEEE A LOT
You are right NPP is weak at fighting corruption and that is why they are working very hard to win the confidence of Ghanaians on their side in terms of Good Governance and prudent Economic management so that NDC will never come back to reinstate Corrupt-Administration, and there will be no need for them, NPP to fight corruption. I think that is very smart of them, isn't it?
