NDC Deputy National Youth Organizer, Chief Biney has slammed the Akufo-Addo government for failing to salvage the economy.
According to him, the economic challenges have worsened under the leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo to the extent that it has even affected this year's festive season.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Chief Biney noted that the Christmas season has become "dry" that Ghanaians are not feeling the positive impact of the season.
He said prices of commodities have hiked up making it difficult for both traders and buyers to enjoy the festive season.
Chief Biney told Kwami Sefa Kayi that due to the poor governance of President Akufo-Addo, the Harmattan has failed to show up.
To him, the economy has become messy under Akufo-Addo, stating emphatically that “the Christmas is dry. The Harmattan cannot even appear today. There’s nothing”.
