National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye has assured all Ghanaians that the Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah will be apprehended by every possible means.

According to him, once an arrest warrant has been issued and Interpol has been involved in the search for Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1; he will surely be brought back to Ghana for a thorough investigation into his case of "defrauding by false pretenses".

"He will be arrested. We will bring him back and do that investigation, and government has also shown that committment," he stressed on Friday edition of Peace FM's 'kokrokoo'.

Speaking to sit-in host Nana Yaw Kesseh, Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B also called on the appropriate State institutions to confiscate all properties belonging to the embattled business mogul.

He noted that the government's position on the Menzgold issue is clear that taxpayers' monies cannot be used to pay the aggrieved customers of the gold dealership company.

However, NAM 1's properties should be liquified to discharge his company’s debt to the customers.

“Freeze all his bank accounts, wherever his stuff is and his interest including everything belonging to him. We should quickly apply to court for an order to confiscate all his things in Ghana and abroad to see the way forward in resolving the issue,” he said.
