The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Thursday held a press conference to express dissatisfaction about happenings at the ongoing bye elections in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
The opposition party pulled out of the bye election following gunshots at the Bawaleshie electoral area.
The National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo' said the party cannot sit aloof for their agents to be killed; hence the decision to withdraw.
Mr Ampofo also led a press conference held at the party's headquarters and wondered if President Akufo really intends to protect democracy in the country.
"...we are holding Nana Akufo Addo fully responsible for what is happening..." he added.
