General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia believes the violence which greeted the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election is a fulfilment of President Akufo-Addo’s campaign promise made to Ghanaians prior to the 2012 elections.
The NDC Chief Scribe claims President Akufo-Addo promised Ghanaians “All-die-be-die” in 2012, and despite warnings from well meaning leaders like former President Kuffour that Ghanaians should not vote for Akufo-Addo, all fell on deaf ears.
Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Asiedu Nketia asserted that violence is President Akufo-Addo’s DNA.
“What happened at Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election is a fulfilment of Akufo-Addo’s campaign promise regarding the ‘all-die-be-die’ mantra. He said he showed us something small in Atiwa. There was a by-election in Atiwa and same by-election took place in Ayawaso West Wuogon,” he jabbed.
To him, Ghanaians made a huge mistake buying into the ‘fake’ apologetic nature that President Akufo-Addo posed during the 2016 elections.
