Former President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday began to wrap up his final campaign by meeting with delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Drobo in the Jaman South constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Mr Mahama has met with NDC delegates in every constituency in the country except Jaman South where he skipped his scheduled meeting during his campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region, following skirmishes between two towns in that area.
The former president is seeking the mandate of NDC delegates in Saturday’s flagbearer elections to lead the party to victory in the 2020 elections.
The party will go to the polls this saturday to elect its flagbearer for the 2020 elections.
A total of seven party stalwarts are contesting to be flagbearer.
Already, the former president has met with delegates in every constituency in the Central, Upper West, Upper East, Northern, Brong-Ahafo, Ashanti, Greater Accra, Western and Eastern Regions.
