The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has criticized Dr. Bossman Asare, Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC) form some comments he made while discussing the issue of a new voters' register.

Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kwesi Pratt said the Commission needs to give some level of respect to Ghanaians and not only political parties because 'every Ghanaian matters'.
According to him, "every Ghanaian opinion is important; not just political parties . . . Ghanaians have the power to bring another body other than the EC to supervise the elections . . . and so they should speak with some level of decorum and respect; to say nobody can tell you what to do is in bad taste . . . he should learn a lesson from this . . . "
