The National Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi did not have it easy when he showed up on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ programme hosted by Kwami Sefa Kayi, popularly referred to as the Chairman General.
Kwami Sefa Kayi who was surprised Sammy Gyamfi was able to come on his show after insulting him on another radio station asked him to leave his studio.
It will be recalled that Sammy Gyamfi, after the NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo’s alleged leaked tape went viral, accused the renowned morning show host and other journalists of being 'hypocrites'.
The NDC Communicator wondered why the Chairman General did not play other leaked tapes that captured the voice of New Patriotic Party (NPP) activists, but did gave prominence to the Ofosu-Ampofo leaked tape.
“These bunch of hypocrite journalists will never play leaked tapes on their shows so far as they have negative repercussions on the NPP. However, they are quick to play leaked tapes that involve the NDC like we are seeing today,” Sammy Gyamfi said at the time.
Initially, the NDC National executive who sounded unapologetic when he appeared on the show refused to show any sign of remorse for his actions because, to him, the issue was in the past and Sefa Kayi was attempting to "use his show to settle scores."
The host subsequently decided to ignore his presence on the show.
It took the intervention of other panel members, including former NPP Bantama constituency MP, Henry Kwabena Kokofu and Tarkwa Nsuaem NPP MP, George Mireku Duker; for the Chairman General to allow him back into the studio to make his submission at the tail end of today's edition of Kokrokoo.

Good work done this will serve as a deterrent to people who bisects their mouth and say anything anyhow and go free, I thought he's a lawyer apologizing won't demote his profession (Lawyer)
You might be out bn of your mind. Even president akuffo addo is still being insulted, has he banned people from attending independence parades? From nkrumah through Rawlings to nana addo, all leaders have been subjected to one form of insult or another, but they all still relevant in society. If you are not tolerant then you have no place in leadership. Yes, you could walk people out when they insult in the course of your program they are members of panel, but if the insults was said in the past, then why do you still hold it against him. Bitterness is what has made him lose all his hair.
U did dis to gain what kwame, infact u are a disgrace to ur profession,ur behaviour is uncalled for and immature. U are simply doing dis to satisfy ur ***barred word*** and failed pay master the NPP.
