The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has described as ‘useless’ a meeting between the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to disband vigilante groups.
The two parties met some days ago to find ways of ending the canker of vigilantism in the country as directed by President Akufo-Addo.
The meeting even though the NPP described as satisfactory, the NDC were dissatisfied.
Subsequently, following a directive from the President, Attorney General, Madam Gloria Akuffo laid before Parliament the Vigilantism and Related Offences Bill, 2019; an effort to eradicate the issue of militia in the country.
However, speaking to these developments, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. said he doesn’t see how a meeting between the two political parties will end vigilantism when there are laws in the country.
He was contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's 'kokrokoo' programme.

Because you do not get free money anymore, everything is ***barred word*** for you. Be honest and calculate how much free money you received from incompetent governments and see how many social problems it could have solved. God is watching you.
