NDC’s Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu constituency, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has made some serious allegation of how a former Minister of State at the Office of the President, Rockson Bukari was forced to vacate his office after an alleged bribery exposé.
A visibly incensed Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini, vented his spleen on the Nana Addo-led government in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, accusing the current administration of using Northerners in his administration as ‘scapegoats’ to protect others.
He described as "crass" and illogical, the continued presence in office of the embattled former Executive-Secretary Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Charles Bissue after his role in a damaging galamsey fraud case.
“This government thinks we [Ghanaians] are fools to believe all the trash they are telling us . . .That man [Charles Bissue] is still in office, they didn't ask him to go. What he did is worse than Rockson Bukari . . . some other person they will carry him out of office because he is from the northern part of the country,” he alleged.

Rockson Bukari’s exposé
Rockson Bukari was caught on tape trying to prevent the Starr FM Upper East region correspondent from publishing a damning story against a Chinese mining company when he was the Upper East regional minister.
Mr. Bukari allegedly tried bribing the journalist with GH¢5,000 cash in a brown envelope and a brand new motorbike to stop the story from going public.
The regional minister was reassigned to the presidency when the story first made waves in 2018, but after it resurfaced Mr Bukari who failed to convince Ghanaians that he was trying to make peace and not bribe the journalist has resigned.
Mr Charles Bisiw exposé
Award winning investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas presented visuals of the role played by Secretary to the Inter-ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Charles Cromwell Bissue in his undercover piece, ‘Galamsey Fraud’.
Mr. Bissue was among several others caught on camera by the Tiger Eye PI team stabbing government’s fight against illegal mining popularly known as ‘Galamsey’ in the back.
He has denied any wrongdoing and emphatically stated that “I have taken notice of the contents of the latest documentary by Tiger Eye P.I., titled ‘Galamsey Fraud.’ I would like to state, at the very outset, that I am innocent of the allegations leveled against me in the documentary, as I was not and have not been engaged in any acts of corruption, criminality or misconduct.”
But Anas in a post on Facebook, insist that the Presidential Staffer indeed abused his office as there are hard facts against him.
According to the undercover journalist, Mr. Bissue used his office to engage in bribery and corruption to enrich himself.
Despite calls on Mr. Bissue to resign, he is reportedly still at post.

A. B.A FUSEINI is totally right some people think they are more human or Ghanaians than the others and attitude must stop or else yoooooooooooooh
This is purely ***barred word***. Some of Northern NDC MPs think Ghanaians are ***barred word***. Always want to play on the sentiments of the good Northern people. Shame on you A.B.A Fuseini
Why do these NDC people always want to play on the ignorance of the people. No wonder NDC never really favours education of the masses but would rather resort to sensationalism and stomach analysis. Irresponsibbblleee old man!
This is a very dangerous trend that the man called himself honorable is tracking. This what happened in Rwanda just a loss talk like this. Please, Alhaji Fusseini has to come out and withdraw that childish statement. wrong is wrong and you should not back wrong with tribal sentiments. Let's stand against such political suicidal in our country.
ABA Fuseini is too tribalistic. He reads tribalism into everything to try and sow seeds of discordance among people. Fuseini should be told that a strong sense of tribalism is a sign of inferiority complex. Many Northerners have strong character and personality so stop talking as they can be pushed around. If ABA Fuseini feels vulnerable as a politician, he should realise that not everyone is like him so he should stop the tribal politics.
They will be the same people to talk if he had not resigned. See a person like the former president went around to tell cocoa farmers that the government is wicked and dont want to increase the producer price of cocoa. Now that IMF is chastising the government for not reducing the price as the world market is down, he is quiet.
THIS ABA FUSEINI MAN TALKS AS IF HE HAS NO BRAIN IN HIS HEAD. HOW CAN WE WIN ELECTIONS WITH THIS OAF BEING ONE OF OUR LEADERS IN PARLIAMENT. ?
Indeed, it's sad how otherwise fine brains can stoop so low and be so ***barred word*** in analysis and reckless in their utterances. Is that how bitter people can be when they are out of office. I am not just disappointed, but also sad that such a person represents a group of people in our parliament. we are not safe in this country, with such people aiming to be in charge of us.
***barred word*** ***barred word***!And this hog calls himself MP.Didn't Charles Bissue resign? Is he from the north?Let's stop this ***barred word***.
Mr. Quaitoo, the former deputy minister for Agriculture in this administration, was compelled to resign when he spoke ill of northerners, in spite of the fact that he has stayed in the northern region and can speak Dagbani like a Dagomba. Do you have to spin everything politically? Have you watched the video in which Mr. Bukari was shown giving out money? I thought you would learn so much as a professional having risen to the rank of an editor at Daily Graphic. If he had not resigned you the same person would say because he was in this government he was being shielded by the president. Shame on you for politicizing this.
