Member of Parliament [MP] for Subin constituency in the Ashanti Region, Eugene Boakye Antwi has cautioned members of the largest opposition party, NDC to talk in the interest of the nation than concentrating on the interest of their party to come back to power.
The Deputy Minister for Works and Housing in a discussion on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ political show became furious as to how Deputy Communications officer for the NDC, Kweku Boahen was addressing issues being discussed on the programme.
He advised that they hold on to their propagandist speeches given them by their party leaders to be delivered on their campaign platforms, which will soon start because their line of addressing almost every issue is not of public consumption but for campaign platforms.
“ . . Frankly, members of the NDC especially its communicators must reserve their coaching briefings for their campaign trips which will start soon, because every submission they make on public programmes do not match the topics given for discussion,” he said.
"Is like they [NDC communications] prepare their own questions and answers before coming on any show, and will never provide answers to the questions asked on the programme,” he added.
