Ghana’s Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Second Lady Samira Bawumia have, in separate Facebook posts, wished the over 500,000 Junior High School pupils good luck as they commence their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) today, Monday, 10 June 2019.
“The academic journey to enjoy the flagship free SHS programme starts today. Success and victory are yours for the taking if you work hard enough,” Dr Bawumia said in his post.
Meanwhile, the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has banned the use of cellular devices by the supervisors during the examination.
