General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu says the party will not support any irregularities in the ongoing limited voters' registration exercise.
According to him, the party has keenly been following the limited registration exercise and that they will come out with their own comprehensive report on the limited registration exercise.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that though the NDC seem to be making so much noise about the limited registration exercise, the party will not support any claim of irregularities been disclosed by the National Democratic Congress.
"You see the Electoral Commission has been given a mandate and as a party we expect them to perform it duties creditably and that if the NDC has any complain to make, they should channel those grievances to the Electoral Commission who have been mandated to undertake this exercise."
"But will the NDC complain if things were going on well for them in the volta region? you don't come out complaining when you know you channel your complains to the Electoral Commission to have it addressed," he added.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the Electoral Commission of deliberately disenfranchising their members in their strongholds in the ongoing limited voters' registration exercise.
Speaking to members of the press at the party's Headquarters on Thursday, General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia explained that they have monitored the ongoing limited registration exercise and that they feel vindicated about the concerns they raised prior to the exercise which the EC failed to adhere to.
During the period leading to the commencement of the limited registration exercise, the NDC raised several red flags which the party thought if not addressed may adversely impact on the success of the exercise.
"Most of the issues we raised were fiercely ignored and treated with contempt by the Jean Mensa-Bossman Asare led Electoral Commission," Johnson Asiedu Nketia said.

Which region is the ndc complaining about? and how did they know there has been some irregularities and how? and how did they know if some people were affected they were ndc members? they talk of their stronghold do they still take those people for granted when in 8 years you couldn't do nothing for them mot even their roads and ndc still call them strongholds? I think the people have decided not to vote at all but stay home on that day and relax than firm a line to vote for the ndc. Ndc should know Ghanaians are discerning people not as st*upid as they always think. When you paid for Sammy Gyamfi and others to take over ndc against the Voltarians do you people think they are st*upid? you need their votes to make your belly f000*00l right? they are telling you to let those you paid for them to get executive positions at their expense to convince their regions to vote for you which are also impossible! how can Ofosu Ampofo ask the ehole if the Eastern region to vote for his party and how are Kwaku Boahen and ug*ly Asafo Adjaye convince Ashanti to turn into ndc and now you are blaming Lady Jean for your own st*upidity and woes! Send EC 100× to the Volta region they won't come out to register so cry over disenfranchised Strongholds who are doing their own thing intentionally to punish the ndc. Why are those who didnt register come out to express their grievance but ndc are making press conference at their Headquarters? this shows how desperate they are for chop chop ! After your cooked up National and presidential primaries did you people go round to make peace with those who were aggrieved? or you thought ndc is for you so whatever they have to obey? Leave Lady Jean Mensa alone to get herself prepared for 2020 elections. You can go to court or opt out, you've never kept quiet on anything the EC does so who cares about your so called rural bank not being able to register the machines came back to work and the people chose not to SIMPLE !Listen to Dr Kumbour !
