The Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has exposed the opposition NDC on social media a day after members of the party took to the streets to embark on a demonstration dubbed "Kum Yen Preko".
Dr. Bawumia, who is also the Head of Economic Management Team of the current administration, posted on his Facebook page, a compilation of some promises fulfilled by the governing New Patriotic Party, and what the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) did while in government.
The post on his Facebook page aimed at exposing the hardship imposed by the last NDC through their mismanagement of the economy and their hypocritical claims and statements being made by the Same NDC in opposition.
In the post, Dr. Bawumia listed a long list of failures recorded by the NDC government in its eight year tenure, compared to an equally long list of achievements recorded by the Akufo-Addo government in just two and half years.
The comparison showed clearly how the NPP had outperformed the NDC in a rather short period of time since assuming power. The Vice President’s post was accompanied by the hashtag “#DroptheHypocrisy"
The implementation of Free SHS, abolishing of taxes and levies, restoration of Nurse and Teacher trainees’ allowances, creation of jobs, IMF bailout amongst others were enumerated by the Vice President in his facebook post.
Below is the post by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

Bawumia paaaa.....Politics of convenience and deception! Can you also talk about fuel prices, recent increment on utilities, current dumsor, road construction, hospital, school and market constructions. Stop the arrant arrogance and focus.
This Veep is a joker. Since when has connecting rural communities to telephone became government responsibility. The next item he will be adding is NDC sold 20 "kpokploku" NPP sold 2,000,000,000,000.00 "kpokploku". We are talking about fixing our roads and providing water to the villages and this man is listing digitizing the process for Passports. I have applied for passport renewal and for 2 months cannot get it. Shame. See the cunning politician, he his not listing any of the things they promised Ghanaians. Tell us how many factories you have built, the number of dams constructed. As for the free SHS the least talked about the better. VEEP: "Even in the middle of the Oti river one can tell the digital address". He should go back and check.
Tell us about the major road projects you have initiated, how about other infrastructure like hospitals, schools etc? Why don't you compare those ones too? Reducing tax is an achievement? What is the impact? Mediocre VEEP.
I don't know but am surprise at Taxpayer, because you think only building of physical and tangible infrastructures leads to economic development of a nation. You are CAPITAL WRONG. Am afraid all these projects you have mentioned above serve as a conduit for the politicians to steal money from our taxes into their pockets and enjoy it with their families and friends. Meanwhile, you and I suffer in perpetual poorvity. The politicans comes and tells you I will build this and that for you meanwhile, you need money to pay your 2 or 3 children school fees for their future but you are soo happy with the physical infrastructure and dont even border about the cost which can be used into an alternative programme which benefit many more Ghanaians than what that infrastructure would have done. PLEASE, DON'T FOLLOW POLITICIANS BLINDLY COS THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU FREE WITHOUT A HUGE BENEFIT TO THEMSELVES. GET UP AND DEVELOP YOURSELF AND YOUR LITTLE ONEFOR THE FUTURE AND STOP THINKING OF TODAY.
FACTS ARE INDEED SACRED , BUT COMMENTS ARE FREE! ONLY THE "BLIND", 8TUP1D AND THE HYPOCRITES WILL DISPUTE THE RECORDS. NDC DOES NOT HAVE THE BRAINS TO RULE GHANA. THEY WILL ALWAYS SEND THE NATION BACKWARDS IN THE UNLIKELY EVENTS OF GHANAIANS GIVING THEM THE MANDATE TO DO SO. NEVER AGAIN TO THE INCOMPETENT MAHAMA, NEVER AGAIN TO NDC. GOD BLESS GHANA, GOD BLESS THE GREAT ADAKLU KINGDOM!
As for Dumsor my brother its a lie, Mahama restored it before leaving office.
Mediocrity at its highest level. you tout these as achievements? May God have mercy on us. and you get some Ghanaians thinking that this is enough development in their living conditions given the level of resources made available to the government. Do you know the level of change that has occurred in the life of the politicians you elected as leaders? They throw this rubbish at you and you are here praising them if this is not foolishness then i don't know how else to call it. You better rise up from your partisanship and mediocrity and demand what is due you and stop being used by politicians to enrich themselves and their families.this is really NAUSEATING!
the infrustrutural development is made to make it eadier for the ordinary Ghanaian to earn a living. but if Ghanaians prefer to be in a looking for problems and blamegame frame of mind, the will forever be poor. but if Ghanaians get into the solutions and outcome frame of mind, the will use their imagination to turn the numerous cdhallenges into opportunities and pull themselves outta of poverty. our problem is an opportunity in work clothes. so get creative and start working hard! only you can help yourself ,and the banksweer not collapsed but simply they faied to meet the BOG capitalisation test. how many times do Ghanaians want to to scammed before they learn if you cannot meet the BOG capitalisation limit, you cannot operate. laws can work!
BAWUMIA KINDLY TELL GHANAIANS HOW MANY BANKS AND COMPANY NDC UNDER MAHAMA COLLAPSE PLS WE WANT TO NO ASAP.IF POSSIBLE TELL US IF NPP BRINGS ALL THOSE BANKS AND COMPANY COLLAPSE BACK TO BUSINESS. IN FACT, BAWUMIA YOU ARE BEYOND THIS IF IT IS COMING FROM YOUR OFFICE.
Where is the NDC analysis table ?
