The spokesperson of former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa-Mogtari says the implementation of the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration will not keep President Akufo-Addo in power.
In a reaction to comments made by President Akufo-Addo when he addressed staff and students of the Bolgatanga SHS, Madam Bawa-Mogtari said the President should rather concentrate on fulfilling his many promises.
"This policy has come to stay. I know that there are people in this country who don't want this policy, who have been campaigning against this policy and they are dreaming that they are going to come back to power to cancel the policy," President Akufo-Addo said.
"I want them to know, that the people of Ghana are not going to subscribe to those dreams. They are not coming back to power and the Free Senior High School Policy has come to stay in our country".
However, Madam Bawa-Mogtari says many of the things that President Akufo-Addo promised have not materialized and Free SHS won't be his trump card in the 2020 Presidential Elections.
"So, you are working on Free SHS to the detriment of health, to the detriment of good roads, to the detriment of good drinking water, above all we still have the double-track system which the former administration led by President Mahama worked very, very hard to remove," she said in an interview on Joy FM.
"Many things will keep a government in power and I believe that many of the things that they promised have not materialized. But, if the President thinks that he can fly on the wings of Free SHS to ensure that his opponents never come back to power then I believe he is deceiving himself".

Only time will tell, Madam.
I feel sad for our politicians.. Its really a sad day for me as a Ghanaian.. Madam Joyce if not because of Education will u occupy the position u r occupying right now? if not becos of Education where will Mahama be.? We beg u dont try to run down somebody in order to gain prominence.. We know what u use our oil money for.. Akonfem, Roland Agambiri, Bus Branding, woyome and enriching yourselves..U even wanted to sell our Bauxite to your brother..Wicked people.. I prefer our oil money been use for education than people chopping in their mouth..At least one day we will say we use our oil money for education which all Ghanaians benefited from.. The media is not helping us at all..They shouldnt give space to politicians who wants to run down the free shs.

So what will win NDC election
Not surprised she is that! Wait for ghanaians to speak in 2020 and you 'Ogwanfun' will see his smoooothless level!
These NDC people are so naïve. Exactly as fryday put it, education is the bedrock, the foundation of all the development we seek. Without investment in education, Madam Joyce Bawa, we cant achieve the goodhealth, we can have the good roads, we cant have the good drinking water. Your father knew it was good to build a good house but he chose to put you in school knowing that you are an investment that can mature to build 100x the houses he could have used your school fees to build. Am education population would know how to live a healthy lifestyle and avoid basic health problems, education will produce more health professionals; doctors, pharmacist, biomedical engineers, health researchers etc. Educated population will lead to job creation through value addition of our primary products, entreprenership, innovation and invetion etc that will grow our GDP and expand the economy. Once the economy is expanded, jobs are created we will be able to generate enough revenue within the country to build quality roads with our own engineers. Joyce Bawa and her NDC folks are short sighted!
Once upon a time two men who were of one father but of different mothers were given a huge sum of money as inheritance by their dying father. Soon after the gift their father died. These two siblings who were cautioned by their father to make good use of the money. So these brothers developed plans on how to use their money. Sibling (A) said the best way to make good use of the money was that he will choose about 8 of his stepmother's village houses and renovate, he will choose 22 of his mother's village houses and renovate so that visitors who visit those villages will see how hard working he is. However, Sibling (B) on the other hand, said okay in order to ensure a good use of the inheritance, he will pay for the education of all the young girls and boys in all the villages of his mother and stepmother so that both his direct siblings and step-siblings will all benefit from the inheritance equally. QUESTION: Between these two brothers who do you think has a good heart?? Sibling (A) = NDC sibling (B) = NPP.
SO YOU KNOW WHAT WINS ELECTIONS AND LOST ABYSYMALLY IN 2016 ?
