In a shocking turn of events, the opposition National Democratic Congress claims the popular free SHS policy was started under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration.
This is contrary to reports that they opposed the policy in the first place.
Bernard Anim Piesie, a member of the Communication team of the NDC who was contributing to a panel discussion on Monday's edition of Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' program said Mahama started the implementation of the free SHS in 2015.
He even went further to provide ‘evidence’.

However, Kamal Deen of the NPP disagrees.
He said, “this is a confirmation that the NDC indeed has no message for the 2020 election.”

NDC- Confusion galore!!!
NDC made us to understand that Free SHS would not be possible until after 20 years. That was said by then Education minister LEE OKRAN. So Anim Piesie, What are you telling us now? NDC issued a statement that Free SHS would not produce quality students. You even went on to tell us that we should identify and make the rich to pay for their Wards. Mahama and his people said we should wait to complete the construction of school buildings before the implementation of the programme. Asiedu Nketia recently said that the Free SHS would be abolished when they come to power in 2021.
Mahama even created God.
