Some Executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, sent water, snacks and soft drinks to parents and students gathered at the Black Stars Square to sort out their SHS placements.
Deputy Women's Organiser of the party, Abigail Elorm Mensah in an interview on Neat FM, disclosed why they decided to embark on such an action.

Meanwhile, the Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh has alleged that some of the hundreds of parents and students gathered at the Black Star Square were bused by former President John Mahama.
According to him, those who fainted were staged to bring shame to the ruling government.
In response, the NDC is demanding a retraction and apology from the Minister.
The move was led by George Opare Addo.
In a Facebook post, George wrote; I was at the Black Star Square earlier today visiting the makeshift Senior High School Placement to see first hand how the exercise was faring.
It was telling, seeing how parents had to leave their important and busy schedules to ensure their wards could access education, and to go through such troubles.. We interacted with some of the participants and assured them of our utmost support.
The Youth and Women Wing of the National Democratic Congress also used the ocassion to refresh parents and their wards who had been left stranded due to the mismanagement and haphazard nature of this year’s school placements.
I represented the Youth Wing while my colleague, Akwambea Elorm Yaa Mensah, Deputy National Women’s Organizer, stood in for the Women’s Wing
Parents and children should not go through such pain and struggle just to access education. Government must sit up, acknowledge it’s shortcomings and work to ensure this issue is resolved. We cannot afford to play ‘small poles’ with the education of our young people.

NDC fed the people they bused there to staged commotion. Wicked people.
Politicians are prepared to do ridiculous things for votes. You will think they are being nice, but they are only seeking an opportunity to have access to the nation's resources so they can plunder and enrich themselves.
