The Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah has denied media reports that he has been fired from his position as board member of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
According to unconfirmed reports, the new board Chairman of the GRA, Professor Stephen Adei sacked him from the board to allow Chief Directors of the ministries they represent to be on the board.
However, speaking on UTV's morning show 'Adekye Nsroma' Monday, the Member of Parliament for Tema West denied being dismissed and urged critics to allow Professor Adei discharge his duties.
