Former Deputy Communication Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has taken a swipe at the Akufo-Addo administration for yet another defense of its elephant sized government disputing that President Akufo-Addo can maximize any gains with the highest number of Ministers and Deputy Ministers.
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Tuesday made a strong case for its ambitious policies and its large-sized government.
It comes in the wake of the recent call by the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER) of the University of Ghana which urged government to review some of its expenditures in the face of a shortfall in domestic revenue.
Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide noted in a reaction that the Nana Akufo-Addo government is committed to improving the country’s socio-economic development of the nation with the supervision of key gatekeepers.
In a tweet to respond to the government’s defense, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu maintained that “the size of this government can never make sense. Certainly not in the face of their mediocre output.”
He re-echoed “President Mahama has said that at least 40 Ministers and Deputies won’t be there if he was President.”

Large size Mahama aids and secretarial staff can never make sense as they bloat govt expenditure.
KWAKYE OFOSU EEEII, YOU ARE NOT THE RULER OF GHANA OOOO TONNN
So stop taking your salaries and allowances as an aid to the former prez and govt expenditure will go down. He who calls for equity must come with clean hands.
Any minimum or maximum number in the constitution of the country? These babies must spare us some peace. this country is having some level of respect and peace ever since NDC and these babies left the scene. Ofosu Kwakye is yet to go to court over the alleged pocket money meant for the EC. He pocket $3 million from the NDC to the EC as stated by a disappointed beneficiary at EC
Babies with sharp teeth. So where does the NDC get these characters from? In any serious country you don't even qualify to be assemblyman for you to have been made a minister and now wants to be MP. Anokwa
