Private Legal Practitioner and a former board member of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Lawyer Kwame Akuffo has denied reports that he is a presidential staffer.
He says he never worked for the presidency let alone draw a salary from there.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' program, he explained that the NDC should seek clarity before coming out with such list of family and friends government.
"I don't even know the colours of the Jubilee House doors because I have never entered the premises to meet with the President or transact any business with anyone," he revealed.
He added that he used to be a board member of the National Petroleum Authority but has since resigned and working privately as a lawyer.
"The NDC should take note and amend their list of family and friends' government, because I don’t hold any position in the Akufo-Addo-led government," he added.
The NDC at a press conference on Tuesday released a list of 51 family and friends of Akufo-Addo’s government.
The opposition party added the private legal luminary to their list of family and friends' in the current government.
At a press conference, he was described as a presidential staffer who draws a salary from the office of the President a position he has refuted.
