Member of Parliament (MP) for the Juaboso Constituency, Kwabena Mintah Akando has tagged President Akufo-Addo as an unfaithful leader for not crediting former President Dramani Mahama during the commissioning of the Ga East District hospital.
"President Akufo-Addo has not been faithful to Ghanaians because the manner in which he accounted for his (former President Mahama's) debts inherited must be the same way he should broadcast on his good works that brought about the debts he inherited," he said.
He added that, "President Akufo-Addo must at all cost acknowledge former President John Dramani Mahama during the opening of the hospital because his tenure of governance completed over eighty percent(80%) of work on the facility before the current government took over."
Speaking on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' political discussion programme with a vivid explanation on the said matter, the ranking member on health-related issues in Parliament noted that as politicians credit is their number one source of growth and President Akufo-Addo is very much aware-off that.
The President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has commissioned the 100-bed Ga East Municipal Hospital, which is part of the “Ghana Hospital Project” initiated by the Government of Ghana, in 2008, and executed by EUROGET De-Invest S.A of Egypt.
The Ga East hospital is the second hospital commissioned so far by President Akufo-Addo under the “Ghana Hospital Project”, following the 18th August 2019, opening of the Upper West Regional Hospital, in Wa.
Speaking at the ceremony on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, the President commended EUROGET for completing the hospital a month ahead of schedule and urged them to do same with the other projects in Tepa, Twifo Praso, Konongo, Salaga, Nsawkaw and Kumasi Sewua.

SO THE PROJECT STARTED IN 2008 AND FOR EIGHT YEARS IN GOVERNMENT, NDC COULDN'T COMPLETE IT. BUT SAME NDC PARTY WANTED NPP TO USE TWO AND HALF YEARS TO BUILD HOSPITALS.
@ KANAZOR FORD THAT IS WHY MAHAMA UTILIZED IT WELL BY BUILDING HOSPITALS AND SCHOOLS. NANA SHOULD ALSO TELL US WHAT HE USE 84 BILLION LOAN HE TOOK JUST 3YRS.
When Mahama was rightly credited with the bad roads and messy economy, this m0ron and his likes quickly rejected it. Yet they want every single positive to be credited to Mahama as if he used his pocket money to do these projects. Very soon, every pregnancy in ghana will be credited to John Mahama. DESPERATE BUNCH OF LOSERS!
JUST AS THESE NON-PATRIOTIC POACHERS (NPP) ARE UNGRATEFUL TO MAHAMA, THEY WILL SURELY BE UNGRATEFUL TO GHANAIANS FOR GIVING THEM THEIR MANDATE TO RULE. ONLY WISE PEOPLE LEARN TO BE GRATEFUL FOR EVEN A PENNY GIVEN THEM. THEY (NPP) ARE SEEING EVERYONE AS LITTLE AS AN ANT BEFORE THEM.
What did Mahama say when he was made to commission Half of the Mile 7 Fly over Bridge and the Tetteh Quashie-Lagon portion of the Tetteh Quashie -Madina road when they assumed office in 2009?
Thank you for educating this ranting former dining hall prefect. After reading your comments I reserved mine.
Which works? Roads or the economy? Every place is CRYING for roads! The economy was in TATTERS when Nana/ NPP came to power. Growth rate declined from 14% he inherited to 3% when he left office. So what do you want him to be acknowledged for? BAD deeds are not acknowledged!
