Controversial musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, says compared to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are more violent in attacking people on social media.
His comment comes after some NPP members verbally attacked Ghanaian media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah for criticising President Akufo-Addo to stop blaming the former President, John Dramani Mahama at the least opportunity.
“The president today in the Volta Region should be telling us exactly how many jobs he has created in the Volta Region alone, he shouldn’t be reminding us of what John Mahama didn’t do or said and hadn’t said. We are not interested in that. There are problems in the Volta Region, he should be telling us what he has done to address those problems”, said Nana Aba Anamoah.
The statement did not go down well with the majority of Akufo-Addo sympathizers and NPP members who took turns to insult and abuse her personality on all social media platforms.
Sharing his opinion however on the matter, A Plus said he cannot fathom why his colleagues (guys) in the NPP are always the ones that get furious even when the issue has got to do with both NPP and NDC.
“So please ooo why is it that when people attack both NDC and NPP it is the NPP guys that get angry and insult? I just don't get it”, he wrote on Facebook sighted by Ghanaguardian.com.
A Plus added: “If you like go to your page right now and post "NDC and NPP are useless." This thing I don't understand it ooo”.

OUR EYES ARE WILDLY OPENED..WE HAVE PASSED BY THESE TALK... WE KNOW WHO IS VIOLENT IN GHANA POLITICS.... EVEN ENDORSED BY YOUR EX- PRESIDENT AND YOUR NEW CHAIRMAN OFOSU AMPOFO. MASSA GO SIT DOWN.
Waaah look.. a pot telling the kettle that it is black.
Oh....really. My friend stop fooooooooling yourself with this stpiiiiiiiiiid comment of yours. Why is it so difficult for some of you NPP surrogates to speak the truth. Probably it's in your bedroom in New York that when you mention Ghana people praises the government. Stop fooooooooling and get serious.
It is only in Ghana my motherland that irrelevant and empty people like A-plus can insult the president of the country all in the name of politics. A ***barred word*** musician who turn himself into politician to achieve his personal selfish interest. Greedy and ***barred word*** person like A-plus. I am not NPP or NDC member but look at what the economic transformation our country is going through under the able leadership of Nana Akufo Addo and his competent vice president Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. Cast your mind back to the time of corrupt and incompetent Mahama then you can make your comment based on that. This government has indeed projected the name of Ghana globally especially among our own African brothers and sisters from our sister countries. Mention Ghana in US today and you hear people heaping praises on the president and the people of Ghana. Then you have selfish individual and greedy individual like A-plus making ***barred word*** noise and comparison because of his selfish interest. I pray to Allah to grant the president and his competent team good health and wisdom to continue bringing honor to their people/country. Ameen.
And so what? A-plus, Ghana has MOVED beyond those dirt tricks. It will NEVER help you! SHAME. Greedy guy!
What do you do for a living,
