Joseph Boakye Danquah, branch Chairman of Minnesota in USA, has expressed optimism over the Akufo-Addo government's free SHS policy saying it is a long term capital investment for Ghanaians.
According to him, he does not agree with the notion of the economists that Ghana is not utilizing her capital investment.
Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" programme, he said the "free SHS is capital spending…As a developing country if you invest in the human resources of your people, we should consider that as capital spending…capital expenditure is about the future so if we are spending in the future of our children; it’s the same as capital investment”.
Mr. Danquah also believed the 2020 budget will bring much hope to Ghanaians.
