Do not sell your birthright to NDC and NPP in the selection of a befitting Assemblyman and MMDCEs for your area. I am for election of MMDCEs on non-partisan basis. If you a lawyer, PROFESSOR, pilot, nurse,Dr, Driver, teacher, farmer without leaning or joining any political party . you should have equal chance of being elected as assemblyman or MMDCEs. Making it political, NDC and NPP will outmuscled independent candidates .Since 1992, pause and ask yourself how many truelly independent candidates won elections. Very handful. The likes, Gbeho, Joewise,Shabaa won. There were mostly disgruntled members of either NPP AND NDC. Naturally, the nos of Assemblymen and MMDCEs will be more than current 275 parliamentarian, naturally morality will be higher. HAVE you THOUGHT of HOW BY-ELECTIONS will be conducted in a partisan District election. How to resolved acrimony in a by- election? ARE we PREPARED TO CONTAIN AYAWASO WEST WAGON MAYHEM like? vote no to save Ghana from being hijacked by NDC and NPP in acrimonious by-election There are two issues at stake for now. Election of MMDCEs and secondly ,should the election be on partisan. I humbly suggest, First in first out. We can decouple the two issues. We can start first by electing MMDCES on non partisan nature . and in future consider the second options of electing them on partisan platforms if plausible. Vote no for Peaceful ,United Ghana
T_MMDCEs can be elected if we *Vote NO* on 17th December 2019._ 1. The opportunity to elect MMDCEs freely is based on Article 243 (1) not Article 55(3) - *Vote NO* 2. In the case of electoral area dominated by NPP(Ashanti) and NDC(volta), and if there are five pro NPP or NDC contestants vying for assemblyman , ultimate choice rest on the electorate. Every voter will will be presented an opportunity to decide not NDC or NPP delegates who can easily be bribed by bags of rice ,motor bike, phone. The current syndrome of FEAR Delegates will become non existence in body politics. If Parties are allowed to contest, if you are a pilot, medical doctor, lawyer, teacher nurse, lecturer, reverend Minister and you do not aligned yourself with NPP and NDC forget about becoming An assemblyman or DCE. Do not sell your birthright to NPP or NDC. ARISE AND VOTE NO Vote *NO* and save GHANA's local governance democ
Vote No
The guy who just commented on this matter is also confused. Just vote No to stop party politics in local government elections. It will reduce the money people spend to become local government because they wouldn't go through any party Congress for them to lose money and then try to make multiple times what they used for sponsorship like the finance minister is doing to us.
IT IS INTERESTING TO LISTEN TO COMMUNICATORS OF THE POLITICAL PARTIES ON THE REFERENDUM. MANY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE REALITY AND THE SIGNIFICANCE FOR YES AND NO VOTES. SOME AS THEY ADVOCATE FOR YES VOTE ARGUE TO DEFEND NO VOTES AND VICE VERSA. MANY MAY JUST DECIDE OT ALIGN WITH YES OR NO BECAUSE IT HAS NOW BECOME NDC AND NPP POLITICAL MATTER. IT WILL BE DISINGENUOUS OF EC AND NPP GOVERNMENT TO CONTINUE WITH THE REFERENDUM. THE INCONSISTENCY OF NDC AND THE SHIFT OF THE DECISION OFFER THE EC AND NPP THE OPTION TO STOP THE REFERENDUM. THE DECISION TO STOP THE REFERENDUM CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE BETRAYAL OF NDC. WE CAN THEN CONCENTRATE ON WHAT WE ALL AGREE TO PROCEED TO APPROVE THE MOTION TO ELECT THE MMDCES AT THIS STAGE. ONE STEP AT A TIME. ONCE GHANAIANS GET OVER THE ELECTION OF MMDCES WE CAN LATER CONSIDER THE PARTISAN ELECTION OF THE ENTIRE DISTRICT ASSEMBLIES IF IN THE FUTURE WE FIND IT NECESSARY. AS AT NOW MANY GHANAIANS ARE NOT ENTHUSED WITH THE IDEA, SINCE THE POLITICAL PARTIES SECRETLY SUPPORT SOME CANDIDATES TO PURSUE THEIR PARTISAN AGENDA. BESIDES, THE CONFUSION BY THE PARTIES TO EDUCATE THE POPULACE HAS WORSENED ANY CHANCE TO ENDORSE THIS DECEMBER ELECTION BY OBTAINING 75% OF THE VOTING AS REQUIRED BY CONSTITUTION.
