A meeting between the Electoral Commission, its Eminent Advisory Committee and the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) over the Commission's decision to compile a voters' register ended inconclusively.
According to reports, there was a near exchange of blows between the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo and the General Secretary of All People’s Congress (APC), Mordechai Thiombiano Lompo.
The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito in an interview on Neat FM's Me Man Nti programme, Thursday after the IPAC meeting, confirmed the brawl and added that but for the timely intervention of Archbishop Palmer-Buckle, Kofi Akpaloo would have hit Mordecai with a chair.
