The NDC MPs immediately after the National Anthem was sung in Parliament during President Akufo-Addo's 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA), walked out repeating a line in the anthem: "and help us to resist oppressors rule with all our will and might forevermore".

The question on the minds of critics is why the former President who is the founder of the NDC did not join the minority in their walk out.
The Minority at a press conference on Thursday answered the question.
