The Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (UK Branch), Richard Dahtus Gyamfi, over the weekend led a team of health professionals to embark on medical outreaches in selected constituencies in Ghana.
The beneficiary constituencies were Yagaba-Kabore, Berekum East, Bantama and Asutifi South Constituencies.
Over 4000 people have since been screened free of charge. Other constituencies are also on the radar to be captured by the exercise.
Not only were the people screened, basic medications and other essential drugs were also given to those with health related problems.
The outreach was led by Places Ghana Foundation which is owned by Mr. Richard Gyamfi.
There were some collaborative efforts by Patient First, another foundation based in Ghana which supplied the team with nurses and doctors.
In all, 11 healthcare professionals from the UK and Portugal made up of doctors, nurses and physiotherapists screened the beneficiaries.
The team heads to other constituencies to continue with this noble exercise.
