We are talking as Ghanaians and not Burkinabes so what is your own? It is like settling for mediocrity just because your situation seems better than someone's. The truth is that this virus can be tackled in only one way in the absence of treatment: limit the spread from person to person. How you that is the strategy but whatever strategy you adopt must end up in the goal of limiting inter-person spread.
Lock down hasn't helped any country. FACT!
Famous, tell your incompetent NDC party they have rule Ghana 27 years since indepedent no part has had this chance they have made Ghana poor ruling a country for 27 years without any socail intervention and no a single company constructed and poor sudent are sufering you don't think of it you will say somebody who has been in power for 3years is incompetent tell your pay master to give us the money WHO give to him for the Ebola qurrantine centers.
Who is incompetent you sit there as if you can rule even a village ounce. The so call Almighty UK are crying and many more. You sit there and say your president is incompetent . Come to Burkina fasso they can not even see the president. You have a persident who always give update and you don't appreciate ***barred word*** ghanaians and ungrateful
It is not about some of us thinking Government doesn't care.....they say "a stitch in time saves...... The issue is the earlier the better....You realized in my concluding part is said " we pray and hope they know what they are doing" meaning they may be right or they may be wrong...likewise those of us you think are exerting too much pressure on the government...... Have you considered that if the government had taken the very bold decisions way back to close our borders and banned all flights the very minute we realized the issue was getting out of hand with the super powers, would we have gotten to this stage? We are calling for a lockdown so the matter does not get out of hand....trust me, we will eventually get there, after much harm has been caused. My brother, come to think of it in our part of the world, systems do not work, systems are not in place and worst of all, we talk big and do little. People who are even employ to check the systems in place also do take advantage of the situation bringing the whole system back to square 1.......So you my brother Kwaku may trust the system but ssome of us always as the "what if" question. The government may have very good intentions but how "good" are the implementors? Immigartion officers were directed to close border, didn't we hear of some collecting money from people and were allowing entry? My brother that is the reality so if some of us are afraid....there is a genuine reason..... Lastly, my brother Kwaku..... the doctor at the war front with all the fighting skills has realized what is happening and is advising that just hide your civilians from the enemy so we do not record more trouble other than we have done now........and you are telling them the expects advising you claim we are not there yet? Well the doctor is also thinking about his or her family, very so he may leave the war front since he advise and you chose not to listen, cannot die a ***barred word*** death, so will leave for the expects to continue the fight......My brother Kwaku, that is thereality!!!
Koby and co.behave like the President and his mouth piece don't care. But we know this Government has told us a lockdown is not ruled out.Deep thinking and wide consultations is the rule before any such policy like a lockdown.Lets give the Government some space, please.ln this fight cool heads win instead of strategies adopted out of fear!
Seriously I find it very unfortunate and very sad to hear our President and that Kojo Oppong Nkrunah putting all sorts of argument about economy and the poor in society....... Have we considered there is no action without its corresponding effects? You have the likes of USA, Italy and Spain counting their corpses in hundreds each day but here claiming testing, testing, testing........ We now have 136 and counting of what effect is the testing if more people are contracting the virus? Instead of a lockdown and then minimize the spread so you effectively tackle whatever you have at hand.....you prefer tackling the ones you already have and continue to treat other new cases!!! You mean we cannot customized the lock down to suit us? The doctors who are at the front fighting this pandemic is advising you to shut down so to minimize the spread you claim expects say we are not there yet..... Wait till the Doctors who also have families to live for, go on strike so you call on the expect who are advising you to to and fight and treat those already down. You talk as if you have the proweaa, technological know how and the power to handle this issue if this gets out of hand....... We are watching you people what ever you say.....but will not forgot if your strategy fails...... YOu mean when you tell Ghanaians, we will lockdown on April 1, 3 clear days ahead of time people cannot plan ahead to survive? Those around James town who rely on public place of convenience cannot have the security agencies regulating their movements? We are watching.......Kojo Oppon Nkrumah comes on air and talks as if he is the reposit of wisdom they by insulting the intelligence of any other opinion......we are watching and hoping and praying you guys know what you are about or doing..............
Lock down wont work.it will rather worsen the situation because partial opening will lead to chaos with people rashing for food at market at sky rocketting prices. You guys should stop the politics and genuinely assist as to protect ourselfs. Those ethnicity ,tribalistic hatred characterise by you pple will not help you.salvation or everlasting life is the most important condition all humans should fight for.i wont mention your tribe but if you pple meet other tribe get rid of the eye red and and hatred altitude and say hi.material possessions on this earth wont lead us to any where.do you think pples living in places like bokom, teshie,Nima etc will comply with what you are suggesting and also do you think private investors will pay their workers when they stay in the house. so dont suggest something that you wont suggest to your party if they were in power. it will lead to hardship and dont think you wont be affected.you will be affected badly. also respect your leaders else you rain curses on yourself
Managing Director of the State Transport Company (STC), has called for a lockdown to avert a spread of the new coronavirus.Tell you incompetent president who surrounded himself with 130 equally incompetent ministers
