National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has described the decisions taken by government to fight against COVID-19 as “best and highly commendable”.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa Fm’s Ekosii-sen, Sammy Awuku said the President was meticulous in going through suggestions, advice and ideas and eventually came out with best solutions to contain the situation.
“Two health experts and researchers told me the President acted just at the right time and that if he had acted too early he could have posed a problem. If acted too late too, had its own ramifications but, in all; the President acted on time and with precision”, he said.
Sammy Awuku lauded the President saying he has shown courage and must be supported any day.
He noted that if the government had heeded to the pressure from the minority to ferry Ghanaians in Wuhan in China to Ghana, “we would have gone down the abyss of COVID-19”.
He argued that countries like Italy, Spain, Germany, UK and France who went for their citizens and students from China to their respective countries have suffered worse cases of the pandemic.
Ghana’s recent COVID-19 case stands at 287 with 5 deaths and 3 recoveries.
“The President has shown courage and determination in the face of the pandemic. This is no time for politics but a time for sacrifices to be made in the supreme interest of the country. The President has proven beyond reasonably doubt that he knows the job,” Mr. Awuku said.

So it is about votes after all? Ghanaians are the most stupiiiid group of people I have ever seen! No wonder Nigerians can come in and Kidnap them and their own police will aid the kidnapper to escape! And their CID boss will go dancing azonto after saying she knew where the girls were! Hahahahaha. Give a Ghanaian money for a shot of liquor and he will think you are the best thing that ever happened but try to educate him so that he will have his own money to set up a drinking spot and he will insult you as enemy of progress!Ghanaians will always be oppressed by politicians in the same way as Nigerians, omo!
Why wouldn't his decisions be the best, when all he does is to sleep wake up and make announcements, something every ediot can do. As we speak, those who brought the disease here are hiding, because he doesn't have the balls to tell the truth to the nation about his appointees tested positive. People have contacted these persons and because they are hiding information the sickness is unknowingly spreading. He has done a very good work. How 7000 results came in and 14 tested positive is very magical to me. He said 15000 have been traced who contacted 214 or so detected positive. Even if each of the 214 contacted just one person, it could be presumed that 214 are likely to get it, so how only 14 tested positive out of 7000 or 15000 is a miracle to me.
