This has got to be the most senseless statement ever made. I mean, like, really???? Ghana doesn’t exist legally, but it was okay when you served as a member of parliament from 1992 to 2000. At the time you didn’t worry about legality because you benefited in the form of salary and car loan. You benefitted from ex-gratia. You were famed because you were the MP for Hohoe North, but it was ok and you enjoyed it despite the fact that you claim it was illegal. What a bunch of malarkey. You are no better than SG Antor who went to parliament in 1957 as a member of the Togoland Congress which opposed the territory joining the Gold Coast to form Ghana. How do you serve in an institutional body belonging to Ghana when you oppose the creation of that state? And not only that, when the Progress Party won power in 1969, he was handed Ghana’s ambassadorship to Togo as a ‘thank you’ for opposing Nkrumah and the CPP. Kedem is only slightly less despicable for having been in Ghana’s parliament, a country he now claims doesn’t legally exist even though he enjoyed one of the highest offices that country could offer him. He should return the salary he took as well as the ex-gratia! And I sure he’s still enjoying Ghana by living in no other place than Accra. These pocket secessionists should be looked at very carefully. Most of them have Togoland Congress antecedents and never supported Ghana in the first place. Some of them are NDC members like Kedem or ex parliamentary aspirants who, after failing to gain grounds in Accra, ran back to VR in order to make a name for themselves there on the backs of rural bumpkins.
