Member of Parliament(MP) for Dome-Kwabenya constituency, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo has appreciated the tremendous contributions of her father, Prof. Emeritus Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, towards her political career.
According to her, her father has been very supportive and a great pillar to her.
Speaking on UTV’s 'Mpu Ne Mpu' programme, Hon. Adwoa Safo revealed that she was elected as Dome Kwabenya MP due to her father’s charitable work in their area, Taifa which is within the constituency.
“My father was one of the early settlers in Taifa and based on his good and charitable works, I was given the opportunity to serve the constituency. So, every step that I take I never leave my father out because he has been a strong pillar to my political career,” she said.
She added, “when I decided to go for the MP position, the people saw the need that I can do it based on the trust they reposed in my family.”
