An all female group of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Western North Loyal Ladies, has organized health screening at Bia East ahead of the December 7 elections.
A team led by the branch Captain, Nana Yaa Appiah joined forces with their sister group, Patients First, to organize the health screening for residents of the Bia-East Camp15 Junction.
Captain Nana Yaa Appiah, speaking to the media, stated as the country goes into the polls; it is important for the citizens to stay strong and healthy and this is the reason for organizing the health screening.
She expressed her appreciation to the leadership of the Loyal Ladies for their unflinching support as well as individuals who contributed to the success of the programme.
The Parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Hon. Nicholas Niber also promised to ensure regular health screenings in the constituency when elected as Member of Parliament.
