The Chairman of Diaspora Patriots in Ghana Foundation (DPG), who doubles as the Deputy Director-General of Operations of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Mr. Prince Ofosu Sefah is pleased with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s governance over the years.
According to him, the President has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he can do more when given another chance to serve the country.
Mr. Sefah maintained that the NPP government led by Akufo Addo will ‘change’ Ghana has saved Ghana from ‘sinking’ – adding, that President Nana Addo’s achievement over the four years is “unmatchable”.
“The wobbling economy, which was growing at an anemic average of 3.5%, high unemployment, high inflation, frequent and extended power outages, a collapsing financial sector which was risking consumers' savings, mounting deficits in key programs, huge debts owed contractors and in public sector worker salaries, canceled trainee allowances, which hitherto offered precious opportunities for the less well-off youth in our nation, along with unprecedented corruption scandals were all inherited.” He said
He also commended President Akufo-Addo for the well-thought-through policies and programs he has implemented, geared toward ensuring not just great growth in the interim but economic transformation, more wealth as well as equalization of opportunities for all Ghanaians.
“Policies like NABCO, 1D1F, Free S.H.S., Planting for Food and Jobs, Massive Infrastructure, including Railways Development, Financial Sector Cleanup, Massive Digitization and the Restoration of Trainee Teacher and Nurse Allowances are impressive.”
