The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku constituency, Bernard Okoe Boye after ballots were counted lost his seat to his opponent, Benjamin Ayiku Narteh by a margin of 1,866 votes.
The Deputy Minister of Health garnered 54,072 while Ayiku Narteh had 55,938.
On Friday's edition of Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', it was alleged that Dr Okoe Boye lost because he refused to attend naming ceremonies and funerals and even when he did, his envelope was not 'fat enough'.
