George Mireku Duker, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency has asked Lawyer for former President John Dramani Mahama in the ongoing election petition case at the Supreme Court to stop 'behaving like a judge'
"Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is behaving like a judge; that his word is final...in court, it is the law and not grammar...and the way he throws his weight around..." he bemoaned.
Hon. Mireku Duker was speaking on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo'.

For my taste, Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata appears arrogant and sarcastic for his repeated usage of the phrase 'with due respect' to the Lordship. It reminds me of the shakespears Mark Anthony' ' So are they all Honorable men' . When you ostensively use certain titles to adress a peronality, you insinuate a subtle hint of irony and that denotes sarcasm. Indeed, he(Tsikata) stands out conspicuously in the court room overly stressing that phrase 'with due respect my Lordship'. I think, it is just one too many.
Some of you are very amazing. In one breath teachers can teach students who can later be better than them, but you don't think that those teachers are not also not stagnant and could also upgrade and become the best. Per your logic we can also conclude that if students can be better then their teachers can be the best.
And should we be worried or surprised? He is more than qualified than any of these biased empaneled petition judges.
I beg to defer from Fynn comments. Teachers teach students who later become better than them. Tsatsu teaching them doesn't make him better than them. We don't have to forget that the world is dynamic. What he needs is to argue his case out. In any case we have had people who have been caught committing crimes yet because they had good lawyers, they were exonerated. Yesterday may be his turn but today might be someone's turn
Of course, he needs to throw his weight about having taught virtually all of them in law school. If he wanted, he could have been the chief justice during NDC administration. None of the judges there can stand toe to toe with him as far as the law is concerned. They are only privileged at this time to be on the bench doing the bidding of their appointor instead of using the law. But for their biases how could a tadpole like Godfred Dame win a case against Tsatsu?
Tsatsu has never been any thing meaningful. Remember him at Gnpc, this guy lead Gnpc to prospect salt instead of oil. Wasted the country's resources for nothing. He is quick to take people court and challenge and his behaviour does far on the Election petition is nothing to write home about. The dubious characters in the criminal party NDC is now becoming obvious. The court must stamp him out for the good of the country.
***barred word***! Non performing MP and galamsey mp. You lost the election but for Akufo addo's vigilante group who came to overturn the results. Your time will come.
