Seasoned Journalist and the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has questioned why the private developer who constructed a wall in the middle of an asphalted road at Denyame in Kumasi will be allowed to go free just to avoid judgement debt.
Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, while bringing clarity to the issue said any attempt to forcibly take the land will incur judgement debt.
But speaking on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kwesi Pratt said government can take over the land and compensate the owner.
" . . things don't add up, in any way government has incurred debt. . . can't government take over the land and compensate the owner? . . . I don't understand it. . ." he questioned.
