The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has re-affirmed it’s commitment to create sustainable and decent jobs and as well ensure that workers are paid decent wages when it comes back to power.
Marking the Worker’s Day on May, 1, 2022, Former President, John Dramani Mahama made this statement while wishing workers well.
In a Facebook post, he wrote, “The National Democratic Congress remains committed to its concept of ‘EDWUMA PA’. Through Edwuma Pa, we will create sustainable and decent jobs, and ensure that workers are paid decent wages.”
Mr Mahama in honour of workers wrote, “Happy May Day to our gallant men and women who make up our nation’s work force.”
He continued that, “You are the engine that propels our country and keeps it afloat. In periods of great economic strife and hopelessness, it is you who come to the peoples’ rescue and provide the needed inspiration and industry to get the state back on the path of recovery.”
He added that, “I have no doubt that your unconquerable spirit of resilience and service will lift us out of our present gloom. And this is why you remain our eternal heroes and heroines.”

Vice president from 2009 to 2012, contine as president till 2016. With all respect can you tell us how many decent jobs you created for the youth. Infact you said somewhere that you ate not a magician. The same mahamah said in the Koffour era that when they come to power they were going to abolish the talk tax. Did they? If Mahammah did perform then he can be sure of coming back, It's a fact that his previous record is very poor . The whole world will mock Ghanaians if a failure is voted to the presidency again.
Well, I'm not sure legalisation of okada is a sustainable decent job mr. Mahama. You and your ministers collapsed Ghana, I don't know your advisors. Ghana I working again, the roads you constructed in your "green books" could not be seen nor used. Now we see roads under construction and completedroads, we drive on real roads not green book one. ***barred word***'s, is okada a work? Your issues are too many to list.
ha ha ha ha aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! But we know you and what you can do and cannot so don't worry we have not forgetting so soon.
Bitccccccccch please
Ah is this man new in Ghana? Has he all of a sudden become a magician? 'Popobribri' in opposition? NDC, NEVER AGAIN!
Is this the same Mr. John Mahama who denied over 1 million young people employment from 2013 to 2017 as a result of the IMF programme that he pulled Ghana into? Was he not the one who paid teachers three months salary for three years work done? Was he not the same president who cancelled the teacher and nurse trainee allowances and said he preferred to lose the elections if that was the price to pay for refusing to restore these allowances? Was it not under his presidency that Ghana had unemployed graduates association? Was he not the president who nurtured the financial sector collapse that resulted in the loss of thousands in the sector? Was he not the one who nearly led the country's financial sector and in effect the economy into total collapse? If he's the same person, I don't think he has the moral right to mention the provision of jobs. He is actually striving to come back to the presidency to mop up the remaining US$billions that he thinks he can take to complete his dream achievement.
Ghanaians would be deemed the most ***barred word*** people on planet earth to vote for a failed former president in the person of John Mahama to come back for only (4) Four years to complete the sale of Ghana . He is going about using the current worldwide economic challenges to deceive Ghanaians because he believes they have short memories While he preaches hardship, he is taking home his salary and other allowances and his vehicles changed every 4 years. While the sitting president has cut back his salary by 30% to help cushion the economy, he Mahama and his double salary MPs are still taking their full salaries. Shame on them In fact if any Ghanaian that will vote for this airbus ***barred word*** to come back, God Almighty will curse and judge them.
Who wrote that? I don’t think it was mahama airbus we know, is that the former president who canceled nurses and teachers allowances? The mahama who couldn’t post teachers and nurses under his regime because of IMF conditionalities? I don’t think ex-president mahama wrote that because his record was very very bad in terms of employment and policies. Take or pay mahama, mahama airbus, mahama bus branding, talking about hardships in Ghana? Hurrrr, is he leaving on different planet or the same earth whilst some countries are still in quarantine due to Covid-19? and because of politics blaming the current situation to bad governance? Eiiiiiiiii mahama!!!!! Ghanaians know you better than you yourself wai
Indeed...forget so soon unemployed graduates association? Imf conditionalities? No one can advicɛ me.....
We know you Mahama more than you know yourself, so forget it because we will stick with the current government and as for your NDC hmmm we will kick you Bongalat 2024.
