This is the biggest rollout of factories in the history of Ghana and the Gold Coast. Not even Nkrumah achieved a quarter of this in his 9yrs from Independence. Even better, all financed through credit from Govt but privately owned. pic.twitter.com/FhE8N37j8U

The founder of the think tank, Danquah Institute (DI), Mr Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has described the government’s One District-One Factory (1D1F) initiative as the “biggest” rollout of factories in the history of Ghana.
Mr Otchere-Darko asserts that the first president of Ghana, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, could not even have achieved a quarter of the feat chalked by the Akufo-Addo-led government as far as the 1D1F project is concerned.
In a tweet on 19 May 2022, President Akufo-Addo’s cousin said: “This is the biggest rollout of factories in the history of Ghana and the Gold Coast”.
“Not even Nkrumah achieved a quarter of this in his nine years from Independence. Even better, all financed through credit from [the] government but privately owned.”
The 1D1F initiative is a key component of the industrial transformation agenda of the Akufo-Addo-led government.

You are so annoying! Never compare your uncle’s camouflage projects to what Nkrumah built. Those are living testimonies. Just listen to yourself? Your party is a failure and so don’t think you are doing something. Go to Kenya and see what we mean by development. Inflation is barely 5.6% up from 5.4% in January. One day you will account for whatever you guys have stolen from the National coffers.
Most of Nkrumah's factories collapsed before he was pushed out of power.
You don't mean it. Not even Bonsa tyre factory, Aboso class factory, Kade match factory, Bolga meat factory, Pwalugu tomatoes factory, Sameraboi sawn mills, Kumasi shoe factory can match your uncles 1D 1F?
Oh is true nana has done well, but Nkrumah projects are still there or here for us to see, feel and use. Where are your achievements?
God will judge you
