Members of Parliament from the Eastern Region have waged into the race for the Regional Chairmanship and are campaigning for their preferred candidates.
Speaking at a meeting of constituency executives in the Akyimansa block of the region, the MP for Mpraeso Constituency revealed that 21 of the 25 NPP MPs from the Eastern region are rooting for Jeff Konadu Addo.
He said, “Jeff Konadu enjoys massive support amongst the MPs. 21 of us support him, including your MPs, because we believe in his ability to manage the party to break the eight”.
The young MP urged constituency executives to be steadfast and assured them of an overwhelming victory.
