The Majority Leader in parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has said the government would present the 2023 Budget Statement and Economic Policy within the constitutionally allowed time frame despite a probable delay.
According to him, the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) may delay the presentation but assured that the ministry of finance is working around the clock to meet the constitutional timeline.
He told NEAT FM’s morning show, 'Ghana Montie' that the earlier proposed date for the budget presentation has been changed.
“The presentation will not be on November 15, 2022, as earlier said, rather, it will be on November 24, 2022,” he noted.
