Former President John Mahama has admonished the security services in the country to always act independently and not to be seen as rallying support for a particular political party since their loyalty is to the state.
He made reference to the 2020 election violence where some 8 individuals lost their lives, the former President said when he is elected into office as President he will probe the issue further into detail and ensure that justice is served as well as compensation given to the family of the deceased individuals.
He made the disclosure when he met delegates at Asamankese in the Eastern region to climax his three-day tour.
He added that the 2024 Election is critical and that he won't tolerate any cheats in the elections.
He assured his party faithfuls that, he will ensure that their wards also get access to scholarships to also further their education while also creating opportunities for NDC supporters to be economically viable.
