Akim Oda NPP Member of Parliament (NPP), Alexander Akwasi Acquah has called on his party to up their game if they want to win the 2024 general elections.
Akwasi Acquah, speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' show Monday morning, noted that the New Patriotic Party can only "break the eight" and maintain power only when they do extraordinary things.
He challenged the party to move beyond the things they are doing and roll out more initiatives that will positively affect the living conditions of the citizenry.
"We have to do an extraordinary things for us to be able to 'break the eight'. If we do normal things, we can't 'break the eight' but we have to do everything to 'break the eight'," he averred.
To him, the party cannot afford to go into opposition, stressing "we just wanna be in power".

I can’t stop laughing. This man is a gem. I like realists and genuine people. I have listened to this audio about five times. Having a hard day in a foreign land, it’s lovely to hear to some good and hard working people who can make you laugh and smile. Thanks for making my late day and night honourable though I don’t support the monetising of politics but I just enjoyed the way you put it. It was a fun and the objective good prof even enjoyed it even though he has been against and criticised the monetisation of politics.
