Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah has cautioned the governing New Patriotic Party against sidelining the Assin Central legislator, Kennedy Agyapong, who put up an impressive performance in the party's just-ended presidential elections.
The Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia won the election, howbeit without a tough competition from Kennedy Agyapong.
Kennedy Agyapong polled 71,996 votes representing 37.41% to attain the second position on the list of aspirants for the flagbearer position.
Speaking on Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo", Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah commended Kennedy Agyapong for not having an early start but giving Bawumia a run for his money.
The lecturer at the Central University strongly believed Kennedy Agyapong is an asset to the NPP and the nation, hence telling the NPP to value this asset.
"You can't do without Ken. You can't at this point, so let's manage him. He's an asset not to NPP but for the nation," he exclaimed.
