Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says his 2024 presidential campaign slogan "it is possible" signifies the grace of God on his life.
At a meeting with leadership of the Christian Clergy of Ahafo Region in Goaso, Dr. Bawumia recounted the trajectory of his life from a humble beginning in the North, laboring in the UK and Canada to educate himself, working at the Bank of Ghana to becoming Vice President of Ghana.
"When I look back at my life, how I used to work in the farm for extra money as a child in Tamale, how I used to drive taxi in the UK to support my fees, how I used to clean dormitories in Canada for money to take care of myself as a student and where I am today as Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, surely it is by the grace of God...The trajectory of my life tells me that it is very possible for God to grant His grace and favour to anyone, regardless of where you come from", Dr. Bawumia recounted.
Explaining why he chose his campaign slogan, Dr. Bawumia said, prior to his election as flagbearer, many had publicly declared that it was never possible for the NPP to elect him as its leader due to his background "but I believed in the grace of God, so I said it is possible".
He added; "They are now saying it is not possible for me to be elected President. Again, I say, by the grace of God, it is possible."

Please talk about the dollar oooooooooooooooo na the dollar is killing us
Untill Bawumia tells us where he got the money to bribe delegates in the two primaries culminating in his election as flag bearer.. Anyone who bribes his way to victory is not worthy to be president of this country. Ghanaians have glossed over so many things sometimes l wonder why we throng Mosques on Fridays and churches on Saturdays or Sundays! What are our values and principles? How have we tolerated this level of corruption in our national politics? If the process is corrupt it inevitably leads to corrupt leaders who lead us no where. How do you call people who steeal from you wxcellency and honourable? No amount of honorifics, titles and veneration can cleanse their guilt.
By the grace of God, Ghanaians will be rescued from Bawumia's incompetent and corrupt self. I believe God's grace will cover the masses this time. After all, in your own words, God has been so gracious to you, yet you decided to agree with some selfish individuals to form a cabal to drain our country, it's the time of the masses to shown the grace.
