The former NPP Western North Regional Chairman, William Benjamin Assuah, has reiterated his firm belief that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP presidential candidate, will emerge victorious in the upcoming general elections to become the President of Ghana.
Mr. William Assuah recently conducted a comprehensive four-day community visitation in the Kankyiabo, Kama, and Ahibenso electoral areas within the Sefwi Bodi Constituency, engaging directly with the local population.
During the interactions, Mr. Benjamin Assuah emphatically highlighted the remarkable developmental projects undertaken by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia under the NPP's leadership, emphasizing their dedication to advancing the well-being of the constituents in the Sefwi Bodi Constituency and the wider Western North Region.
Expressing concerns about the incumbent Member of Parliament, Sampson Ahi, who has held office for two decades, Mr. Assuah stressed the importance of revitalizing Sefwi Bodi politics to introduce fresh ideas for the constituency's development.
He encouraged young people in the Sefwi Bodi Constituency to genuinely rally behind Nicholas Andoh and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for their commitment to implement policies that will create jobs in the digital space, entrepreneurship, and skill development programs that aim to empower the teeming youth of the country.
He stressed that the young people of the constituency will not only secure better job prospects but also have a say in shaping a brighter future for themselves as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party’s Manifesto speak to address the pressing concerns for young people of Ghana.
Mr. Assuah showcased numerous key projects initiated by the NPP government, including Agenda 111, the establishment of the Regional Health Directorate and bungalows, the construction of new facilities like the circuit court and judges' bungalow, numerous communications masts, as well as essential infrastructure like the Sefwi Bodi to Ahibenso road and regional medical stores.
The former regional chairman urged party members to actively engage and promote positive narratives surrounding the party's parliamentary candidate, Nicholas Andoh, and the presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to garner support for their candidacies.
He emphasized the critical need for unity within the party, calling for a cohesive front ahead of the December polls to secure victory and achieve the party's goal of "Breaking the Eight."
