The National Democratic Congress (NDC) plans on going on a nationwide demonstration against the Electoral Commission (EC) on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
The party is demanding an independent forensic audit of the Information Technology systems of the EC, to ensure that the voters’ register is robust and credible.
However, in response, the EC urged the party to engage in dialogue rather than demonstrate.
However, the NDC is standing its ground.
Reacting to this in a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Charles Owusu formerly of the Forestry Commission wonders why the NDC is insisting on demonstrating when the EC is calling them to resolve their issues.
"Do you want the errors corrected or not?" he queried.
